Three years ago today just after midnight
I was rolling home after a day of drinking downtown when I apparently ran this intersection
I was hit and was thrown around 30 feet on to the curb
I was rushed to the ICU in Truman Medical Center where I spent the next 10 days in a medically induced coma
I was released from Truman to a rehab center for people with brain injuries several weeks later
And before the end of the month I was out...
30 lbs lighter and short one working eye
This photo was taken at the Rapture in Misery 6/12 race that was turned into a fund raiser for me
It was the day after I was released
